We do have great connections in LA and can get Hollywood talent; but did you know our local talent is in Hollywood? It’s true. Not only will you hear many of our folks on national radio and tv but now movie trailers. Our own John Causby just finished voiceing for Universal’s new “Deseicable Me.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuqMOLrW-iI

Voice Over Workshop Great Reviews

Groundcrew Studios hosted a great voice over workshop this past weekend. For those that did not get to participate, we are looking to do another one in October. We also might do some quick two hour workshops one night a month. Big thanks to Lynda McCarrell with the Daniel Hoff Agency and Nick Omana National VO talent/actor who are incredible teachers. More to come!

Yes, we are hosting a Voice Over workshop May 15-16 2010. I will provide details, costs, sign up, etc. by the end of the week. This is the one to attend. Los Angeles agent Linda McCarrell (With the Daniel Hoff Agency) and National Voice Over Actor Producer Nicholas Omana will be conducting the workshops here at Groundcrew Studios. It is this very workshop that helped me get more national work (well, really more work…period.) More about this exciting work shop this week, so check back.
I look forward to it!

We could not have asked for a better weekend weather wise. (OK, maybe a little cooler. I don’t like going from the 40s to the 90s.) But, nonetheless, the humidity is down, the skies are blue and everything is blooming. It’s a great time for reflection, rejuvenation from the long winter (in many ways) and to be thankful for what was given to us and for what we have. Easter is a time for celebrating what is new and there seems to be a lot of that. (I’m almost dizzy trying to keep up with change.) So let this be a time of thankfulness and renewal. Enjoy this spectacular weekend.
