Groundcrew’s 2019 Spring Voiceover Workshops

Mark your calendars! Groundcrew Sound is partnering once again with Lynda McCarrell & Nick Omana of The Voiceover Institute to bring you a full weekend of voiceover coaching and workshops.
We’ll be flying Lynda and Nick in from California to teach the workshops here at our studio in Southend Charlotte. Lynda and Nick bring two different perspectives on the voiceover industry and a world of experience between them. Lynda is a top notch VO agent and Nick Omana is a talented National voiceover artist.
One-on-One Coaching Sessions
Friday, March 8th
Nick & Lynda offer one-on-one voiceover coaching sessions on Friday, March 8th from 9am-5pm. These hour long sessions are available to those who have completed the CORE or Master Class (or a similar workshop), or working actors and VO talents. The 1 hour one-on-one coaching sessions cost $150. Please contact kelly@groundcrewstudios.com to book your time slot. Each coach has 8 available time slots, so these will fill up quickly.
CORE Basics Workshop
Saturday, March 9th at 8:30am ET
We recommend our CORE Basics Workshop to beginners who are trying to break into the voiceover industry, however this workshop will have value for VO talents at any level.
The CORE Basics Workshop begins at 8:30am on Saturday morning and runs until 6pm, with a 1 hour break for lunch. This workshop will cover every aspect of the voiceover business and help you build a solid foundation in voiceover!

The cost of the day long workshop is $350.00. Each workshop is conducted here at the Groundcrew studios in Charlotte’s Southend. The environment is casual and comfortable. There will be a lunch break. You may walk to one of the many restaurant options. Or, we have a full kitchen and refrigerator available if you’d like to bring your lunch. Water and coffee will be available throughout the day.
MASTER CLASS
Sunday, March 10th at 10:30am ET
The Master Intensive Workshop or Master Class will be conducted on Sunday, March 10th from 10:30am to 2:30pm. The total cost for the Master Class is $250. You must take the Core Workshop before enrolling in the Master Class.
Previous Core Basics required. The Master Class will focus on refining specific areas of voiceover!

- Advice for producing your demo(s)

You’re welcome to sign up for both workshops! The cost for both is $600. The instructors request a 50% deposit (or full payment) to hold your place in the workshop(s). The remaining balance is due the day of the workshop(s) you plan to attend.
Check is our preferred payment method but you can also swing by the studio to pay your deposit in cash. You can also pay by credit card via PayPal (Kelly will email an invoice) but it has a 3% processing fee.
